GRAND FORKS, N.D. — Brock Boeser, Coltyn Sanderson and Chris Wilkie each scored twice in No. 2 North Dakota’s 8-1 victory over Western Michigan on Friday.

The victory gave the Fighting Hawks the outright NCHC regular season championship.

Boeser, Wilkie and Nick Schmaltz all had four points for North Dakota (27-5-3, 18-4-1 NCHC), which got 31 saves from Cam Johnson.

Sheldon Dries scored a power-play goal for the Broncos (8-22-3, 5-17-1).
