ST. CLOUD, Minn. — Kasimir Kaskisuo and Minnesota-Duluth set up a showdown for NCHC playoff home ice by completing a road sweep.

Kaskisuo stopped 25 shots as the Bulldogs held off No. 3 St. Cloud State 2-1 on Saturday.

Dominic Toninato and Karson Kuhlman scored second-period goals for UMD (13-14-5, 9-10-3 NCHC), which is tied with Miami for fourth place. The Bulldogs and the RedHawks play two games in Duluth next weekend to close the regular season.

Patrick Russell scored and Charlie Lindgren stopped 25 shots for the Huskies (25-8-1, 15-6-1), whose loss combined with North Dakota’s win allowed the Fighting Hawks to claim at least a share of the NCHC title.

St. Cloud State is six points behind North Dakota and plays at Colorado College next weekend.
