PRINCETON, N.J. — Jake Kulevich tallied four points, and Tyson Spink scored and added an assist as Colgate defeated Princeton 5-4 Friday night.
Princeton’s Alex Riche scored his first career goal at the 1:00 mark, as Max Veronneau took a shot from the top of the left circle that was deflected by a sliding Riche in front.
After Even Peterson tallied for Colgate to knot the game 1-1, Princeton answered with goals by Eric Robinson and Garrett Skrbich to take a 3-1 lead to the locker room at the end of the first stanza.
With Princeton on the power play midway through the second, Tylor Spink netted his sixth goal of the season short-handed, as brother Tyson Spink fed the puck into the slot for the tap-in goal.
Princeton and Colgate added a power-play goal each to finish the scoring in the second period, as Veronneau netted his eighth of the year for the Tigers from Mike Ambrosia and Joe Grabovski, and Adam Dauda netted his first from Mike Panowyk and Kulevich.
The Raiders’ offense completed the comeback at 1:12 of the third on Tyson Spink’s 12th of the season, and Kevin Lough netted the game winner 4:07 later with his first of the year assisted by Panowyk.
Charlie Finn made 28 saves in the win for the Raiders. Colton Phinney made 40 saves for Princeton.
