Last weekend’s plethora of ties made the early-season picks records a bit skewed:

New Hampshire at Northeastern

Jim’s pick: Troubles continue for the Huskies

Dave’s pick: I like the Huskies for the season but not for this matchup.

Boston University at Massachusetts

Jim’s pick: Terriers rebound from a lackluster game at home to take three-of-four points from UMass.

Dave’s pick: BU needs overtime but squeaks out the road win.

Providence at Massachusetts-Lowell

Jim’s pick: Lowell earns the W in the home opener.

Dave’s pick: The River Hawks pick up their first win.

North Dakota at Maine

Jim pick: The Sioux come out flying on the road and hang on for the win.

Providence at Boston University

Jim’s pick: Tough weekend for the Friars.

Jim’s pick: Huskies finally earn a win.

Dave’s pick: This is getting spooky.  Jim and I are on the same page way too much.

Jim’s pick: Tough pick but I’m going with home ice as the deciding factor.

Dave’s pick: Last year, Merrimack dominated at home and struggled on the road. For now, I’m picking accordingly.
