Here’s What I Believe After Friday Night.

12 teams are in. Denver, Miami, Wisconsin, Boston College, North Dakota, St. Cloud, Bemidji St., Yale, Cornell, Northern Michigan, Ala.-Huntsville and RIT/Sacred Heart.

Denver and Miami have sewn up number one seeds.

Wisconsin will sew up a number one seed with a win on Saturday.

BC will most likely get a one seed if it wins, but North Dakota and St. Cloud both still have a chance at a number one seed.

There are four spots left in the tournament.

Michigan, Union and Maine must win on Saturday to make the tournament. If any one of these teams wins, that is one less spot available for at-large teams.

Ferris State locks up a tournament berth with a win over Miami on Saturday.

New Hampshire, Alaska, Vermont and Minn.-Duluth are still alive and waiting to see what happens on Saturday.

If Maine wins Hockey East, Vermont can not get in. If Union wins the ECAC, Vermont can not get in. But if Michigan wins the CCHA, Vermont can still get in.

Tonight Brown, St. Lawrence, Boston University, Canisius and Air Force were eliminated.

More in the blogs as we go along.

Any other team not mentioned here is finished for the season.
