Boston College defenseman Brian Dumoulin, Wisconsin defenseman Justin Schultz and Minnesota-Duluth forward Jack Connolly repeated as first-team All-Americans when the teams were announced Friday.

The 24 players honored over four teams — first and second teams from both the East and West regions — came from 17 teams. Union led the way with three players: first-team goalie Troy Grosenick, second-team defenseman Mat Bodie and second-team forward Jeremy Welsh.

The three other teams in the Frozen Four each had two players selected.

Nine of the 10 finalists for the Hobey Baker Award were included on the team. The lone exception was Michigan goaltender Shawn Hunwick. Ferris State’s Taylor Nelson and Minnesota’s Kent Patterson took the West Region goaltender spots.

ECAC Hockey and the WCHA each had seven All-Americans, with five from the CCHA, four from Hockey East and one from Atlantic Hockey.
